Ginjo Shu Azure Japanese Sake 吟釀酒

The Tosatsuru Azure comes from the Tosatsuru Shuzo and is of the Kochi Prefecture. It comes packaged in a pretty blue bottle and in a blue bag. It is quite unique as the drink is made with deep sea water, which is quite unlike a traditional sake. The sake has a fruity aroma of pear. The first sip reveals a clean and fresh flavor. The Tosatsuru Azure has a long tail and is quite dry. It should ideally be served chilled and can be enjoyed with seafood and with Western dishes. The Tosatsuru Azure is an exceptional sake and comes highly recommended.
